H liftall pump

I have a few questions about my liftall out of my 46 H.
I decided to see where the liftall was leaking on my 46 H. I put some hydraulic fluid in the unit and tried it. The fluid sprayed out from under the unit but I couldn't see where exactly, so I dropped the liftall down. After taking the liftall apart, it appears that the small gasket (the piece that the pipe outlets connect to) had a chunk missing. One of the pump gears has some small pieces missing, and looks like someone filed and honed it before. The other gear looks new. There isn't any wear on the back plate. While it's apart I'm going to change the seal as well.
My questions are: (1) Will the gear with the damage be ok? (2)I plan to check gear tolerances etc, but while this pump is apart is there anything else I should check or replace? (3) Info in the archives indicated that a yellow 8 on the resorvoir meant you had the higher output pump, mine doesn't have an 8 but yellow dots inside on the pump,whats that for? (4) Are the ball bearings and springs generally reused? (5) Anything to look out for when putting it all back together?
