I was having some noise in my left wheel on my 47 Super A. As I drove through the field it seem as thou the tire would move in and out and make noise. I jacked up the tire and and rotated the tire and could not feel much movement. I then pulled off the inspection cover that was located on the inside of the bull gear housing( plate with a rounded center to it that has four bolts and is in line with center of wheel.) This covers the end of the axle and contains a bolt that holds the axle in place. My bolt and come loose and the axle had worked it way out about 1 inch. I was fortunate that I was not driving down the road at high speed and have the wheel come off. Pull the cover and make sure this bolt is tight.
