Well guys I have to admit up front that I am a John Deere guy but have a couple red ones in the barn.. My grandpas old m and an h and I had a 560 pulling tractor one time in my day.. However we recently bought some new property and I have decided I need a backhoe to clean it up.. So I found and add on Craigslist for a running backhoe for 1500 needs some tlc.. So I went to look at it and this is how the story goes the guys that had it know nothing NOTHING about tractors.. They told me it was an Oliver becaues it was green and white but one look at the grill and tag and sure enough it said international on it.. As I grabbed the torque amifier on the awesom backhoe the guy that owned it told me it was the parking brake.. The tractor I believe is a 300 utility however it has no pto and looks like a factory plate over it is a wide front and it's short and squatty. It has a large Henry loader the hoe is also a Henry too and looks like it could be hooked to a regular three point tractor but I'm not sure. A couple cylinders leak and some welds here and there.. Motor runs but not like a top needs a tune up. Also the gas tank has been removed and is replaced with a 1/4 keg it also has no hood.. It digs good seems to be pretty sold the serial number is 23054 I will try and post a few pics if I can figure it out or u can email me and I'll send them. It also has one new rear tire and one sketchy rear tire..

Today's Featured Article - Choosin, Mounting and Using a Bush Hog Type Mower - by Francis Robinson. Looking around at my new neighbors, most of whom are city raised and have recently acquired their first mini-farms of five to fifteen acres and also from reading questions ask at various discussion sites on the web it is frighteningly apparent that a great many guys (and a few gals) are learning by trial and error and mostly error how to use a very dangerous piece of farm equipment. It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro ... [Read Article]
