Have you taken the carb off lately and cleaned and adjusted it? When I had an M, I had it tuned in really well. Then, the carb started leaking. I had to put a new set of gaskets and needle valve in it while working at the county fair. Anyway, I got it tuned back in and all was fine, untill I went plowing with it. It missed under heavy load. I got off, gave it 1/2 turn more fuel on the main jet, and it was a whole different tractor. Cured the miss, and picked up lots of power.
I know tedding hay isn't hard work, but that's my advice, if you think it's a fuel problem. It may have picked up some crud in the sediment bowl or carb and it starved for fuel. If it's not fuel related, It's most likely a bad condenser or coil. Good luck ! -Andy
