Want to make sure I follow your instructions: First, with engine off loosen mag bolts and rotate all the way toward engine to retard. Second, I can use the hand crank to get #1 to TDC then look in the inspection cover on the clutch housing to be sure I am inline with the mark on the flywheel. Last, still with engine off, rotate mag away from engine until it snaps - and at that very point, tighten the mag bolts. Is that it? I am used to timing old cars and stuff by ear with the engine running and I understand to do all your procedures with the engine off and I am ready to go, correct? Thanks for your time, I just love this old Super A!
