With the the leg lever in neutral there should be no flow out or in the aux. connections. It should be as if the loader is not connected and I would have expected the power steering to be OK in this position. Since the power steering is not OK in this position I conclude that oil must be flowing out and back to the reservoir and therefore it is not available to the P steering. When you move the leg valve up or down without the loader connected to the aux valves do you hear a squealing noise from inside the tractor? The tractor may have to be revved to make this happen. When this is done the leg lever should automatically cancel and return to neutral. You should be able to hold the control valve on the loader in one direction (front or back) with the aux lines connected and after the loader action occurs the power steering should return. This is due to the fact that if the loader valve is held and not released the inlet oil should after expanding the hyd. cylinder not have a place to go. This blockage would stop any recirculation and should let the power steering return. Oil has to be flowing out the aux and back into the tractor reservoir when the p steering is not working since the steering is working when the loader is disconnected. My manual is not available to me at this location but I will get it later. There is a priority valve but it is complicated and without a manual I suggest that you leave it alone. It is located near the hyd. filter behind your left foot. It is a vertically mounted device and is pulled out in a downward direction. Sometimes the spring will break but usually the problem is present with just the tractor and your tractor by it self is fine.
