I used to have just a vent on my 2-way cylinder on my Super H aftermarket 3-point hitch. I since have piped it like this guy said with a hose back to a tee screwed to the filler pipe. Then I kept the filler cap with it's vent. The problem I have had with 2-way cylinders is that they sometimes leak internally if there is no pressure on them. Then when I extended the cylinder all the way it would have a small amount of oil in the outlet side that would spray all over the tractor and me (discusting)out the vent. After adding the return hose the system works much better. Roger
