Red, thanks for the info. but you know the hitch that I have looks very simular to these universal hitches except the links between the drawbars and lift arms are home made instead of being a factory turnbuckle. The drawbars are 36" long and the distance from the back pin of the top link out to the end of the drawbars is about 18" or so if both are horz. to the ground. My thinking is that this distance may be too short or close for the top link to work correctly. But I'm not sure of that. I don't want to buy another hitch if I can get this one to work as it should. I looked at a MF35 and took some measurements and the top link rear pin is about 2/3 back from the outer end of the drawbars. Although the drawbars are differant length from mine, I thought the ratio should be about the same. Maybe not. At least the buster worked on the MF35.
