No doubt the tractor's major components were made in 1952, but the engine code was early December. The question as to whether it was actually sold as a 1952 or a 1953 is open to debate IMHO...Frankly, I would lean towards it being an early 1953, but then I am splitting hairs a bit...You are never going to know for sure, but the engine serial number will usually be close to the actual tractor serial number...once in a while they will match...BB
