The original styling for those tractors had the white grill bars. However, when production began, they weren't supposed to do that anymore, but still did on occaision. I think I talk about this in the Farmall Letter Series Originality Guide, also, the paint decisions on the Historical Society website also talk about this I think. Don't necessaraly trust factory photos- a lot of them were taken of experimental and preproduction tractors!
