Bought a cheap 350 RC and it has TA problems. The TA did not change the speed when the lever was moved. I adjusted by the manual and decided to drain and refill with new oil while in the shop. The oil had a lot of water in it so I pulled to top plate off to see what it looked like and try to clean it out. After I got the plate off, I noticed the TA clutch seemed to be gone. I can see parts of the disc in the bottom of the housing. If this is the case , is it pulling on the low side now? PO said it freewheeled. Is there a way to delete the TA or is this a big expense? Am I correct that the tractor has to be split in two places to do anything to it?
