Good luck at the pull but first gear speeds do not make any difference. All tractors will spin out vs power out unless they are wighted several classes above their shipping weight. You need to worry about your balance, drawbar position, tires and inflation. Sounds like this might be your first pull. Try to find out what the winners are doing right and take notes.
