Redfan, it seems as though there are conflicting specs. for these tractors. My information comes straight out of IH Buyer's Guides from the 70's. The 1976 IH Buyer's Guide specs. a 4366 as having 225 engine HP(Manufacturer's estimate) and 176.0 drawbar HP(officially tested) with a DT-466 engine. The 1981 Buyer's Guide specs. a 4386 as having 230 engine HP(manufacturer's estimate) & 176 drawbar HP(official test) with the DTI-466 engine. I don't have my Nebraska Test Book with me at the moment. Just curious, Redfan, were there many of the Steiger-built IH 4WDs sent "down under"? I'm as IH as anyone, but the 4WDs were not one of IH's better ideas. We had a lot of problems with them back when they were popular here years ago. To be honest with you, I don't miss them much. Have a good one.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
