Holy Cow! What the heck is going on here??

I backed the old SMTA onto a steep (sideways) incline and rear end oil began coming out of one of the bolt holes in the axle where one would mount fenders. The Doggone thing looked like Old Faithful! What in the heck is going on here?? -FarmallTom
