Well I had been shopping around for an old late 1940"s to early 1950"s Pickup and today I found what fit the bill!
This morning, like every morning, I was searching the advertisements on Craigslist and came across this old 1952 International Harvester L-120 3/4 Pickup. As it was nearby, I went over and looked at it between classes. Its a straight old truck that wasn't abused. Granted there are some dents, but not really a lot of rust issues. The Box is in great shape and so is the cab, the floors are solid! It has the OHV 220 Six Cylinder with 60,000 miles and a Four speed on the floor. I was able to drive it around where it was parked, and it drove good. Just have to pump the breaks twice to stop! The trucks only option, the heater, even blows hot! It also has a new battery in it. I gave $1100 for it, not to bad I think. The seller wanted $1500.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the story and the pictures!
I will post more when I get the truck home this weekend.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
