X1-r is an additive that breaks down easily and forms like candy in your oil pan. Heat breaks it down quikly If you doubt me take a coffee can and put an ounce of oil in it and heat it up then let it cool and repeat about three times. I was interested in it but was leary about ,so I got a free sample and tried that test to it and threw it away. If oil manufacturers needed better additives in their oil they would have them in their already.
