I have a M Farmall that does not idle smoothly. It sputters and pops and sounds like it misses occasionally. But, when I gradually increase the throttle it starts to run a little smoother the more I increase it When it gets to 3/4 of the way to full throttle it seems to disappear completely. Any suggestions?
By reading some of the other posts I have read it could be a cracked manifold or burnt valve... how do I check to make sure its neither of these problems?
The points and condensers are new along with the plugs and wires.
It has been switched over to a 12V system and looks like it has the original coil. Would replacing the coil help?
