It is a transmission modification that places a new set of gears into an H or M Farmall (and other of that series). It consists of an alternate drive path for the countershaft. THis attachment drives the countershaft faster than originally designed. The effect is to add 4 more speeds that are between 4th and 5th gear speeds of a normal tractor. These speeds are handy for pulling wagons, and raking throttled back. Useful for field operations like rotary hoeing that require speed but not drawbar force. The shifting is: 1-2-3-4-h1-h2-h3-h4-5. It is not shiftable on the fly, and does not make the tractor slower in any gear. M&W and others have made this attachment. Jim
