Value of a M----all torn apart

Hi guys

I guess the vintage tractor bug has really bit me hard! I keep finding myself looking at the old one's more than the new one's these days!

I found a "M" that's all tore apart. The transmission on back is all complete. The engine is taken out and was put in another "m". The engine they do have for it has a crack in the block but he thinks it could be welded. I would have to buy rims and tires for it since there's none with it. All it has is the centers that are clamped to the axle.

The front axle is laid out setting aside the "corpse". He claims that the frame rails, rad, bolts and nuts, tin work, and everything else is there.....all it needs is this engine worked over that they do have for it....probably a "build one out of two" kind of deal.

I figured it's already literally tore clear apart that half the work is already done for me to sandblast and paint and start putting back together. I know this is going to take alot of work and I really should direct more of my free time rebuilding that F-20 I started a few years ago but I'd hate to see someone grab this girl for salvage.

What would you put for a price on it? Do you really think it's even worth my time to rebuild if the engine block is cracked? I just love these old IHC's and want to get a collection of them someday.
