Church to Church tractor ride will be Saturday, August 6, 2011. Get registered today! We will start Saturday morning Aug 6, 2011 at Clover Ridge United Methodist Church in Walford, Iowa. We will have breakfast together at 7:00 am. (If you register your tractor you will get breakfast and lunch included in your registration for the driver) At about 7:30 am we will have a drivers meeting. We expect to leave Walford at 7:45 am or so. We will be traveling down through Swisher Iowa and North Liberty Iowa to have noon lunch at the Oxford Hay Expo, near Oxford, Iowa. The Oxford UM Church ladies will be serving a meal there. We will spend some time after lunch enjoying the Oxford Hay Expo and then for back to Walford in the later afternoon. If you choose to leave your tractor at Oxford Hay Expo on Sat night we will have a shuttle to get you back (later afternoon) to the Walford church to get your truck/trailer. The registration fee is $40 dollars. You need to send the signed registration fee and signed safety pledge along with your check made out to Clover Ridge UMC, to this address: Clover Ridge UMC, P.O. Box 87, Walford, Iowa 52351. We do require these things: A rear view mirror on your tractor, a Safety slow sign on the back of your tractor, driver must have valid drivers license, you carry liability insurance, buddy's in a buddy seat are allowed, no passing.
