Most websites now use the wide-screen format (like TV) built for LCD screens.
I use an old 22" CRT w/pc sitting beside my recliner/rocker. I use a custom built keyboard/mouse tray across the arms of the recliner and a coffee table on my right side for holding mugs of hot/cold beverages.
You can change to higher resolution but the higher the resolution the smaller the text. You could then go to your page sizer (zoom) and re-size to fit your screen.
You could also purchase a new wide flat-screen monitor and plug it in to your pc. Windows xp and higher will have the software and the software also comes with the new monitor.
