Go for the domed pistons. They help you utilize the octane in the gas we have today. If you want to do a little more work, get a camshaft from a 340 or 504 they go right in and really make the tractor run a lot smoother. Also a little more power. This suggestion came with the IH Firecrater piston kits in the mid 1960s. Ive done it and they run great.
