I purchased another 460 with no engine. The tractor is, I beleive a 58 sn 4062. The plate has 460 L on it with the serial number 4062 CSY. I was orignally told it was a diesel, however after I got there I noticed the fuel tank only has on opening for the sediment bowl, my 460D has 2 one for the return. It has the glow plug on the console with gauge? It is a single front tired tractor. Sheetmetal is in good shape, AZ tractor, rear tires in great shape, 75% and 50% and it has the weight bracket and 4 100# IH suitcase weights hanging on the front. it has the fast hitch that has been modified to a straight drawbar, heavy duty, and it is no longer liftable, cylinder is still in place, lines removed and capped. Was this a factory LP tractor? i will post some pics shortly. it was headed to the scrapper and I bought it for 375.00. It gives me a lot of options, parts for my 460D restoration projects or maybe drop in a C301 for a puller. The guy had pulled the radiator and it it rodded and painted as he was going to use it in a rat rod project, so it is like new.
