Can't find my slip right now, but I think I paid $80-90 for the last one I bought. It was purchased from Genesee last winter. I have since seen it offered by Denny's for $66. Someone here at YTMag posted several months ago that NAPA has them for $40-50. They don't look like they are worth more than $15.
I am using a standard coil. The high capacity coils will burn them out. If you want to use a high performance coil, you will need to talk to Denny. I wish you well doing business with him.
The installation is easier and quicker than replacing points and condenser. No alterations to the distributor are necessary.
If your local NAPA guy won't get it, do a search here under NAPA and find the recent post of a NAPA outlet in CA who supposed to be good. You might have to search "tractor talk" as well.
Search the pulling forum for another thread on electronic ignitions. It appeared about 10 days ago. If you searched all the forums, you will probably get some more hits. Someone wrote an article and posted pictures of the installation. Kim has it indexed on the home page of YTMag. Ain't the internet wonderful?

Looking around at my new neighbors, most of whom are city raised and have recently acquired their first mini-farms of five to fifteen acres and also from reading questions ask at various discussion sites on the web it is frighteningly apparent that a great many guys (and a few gals) are learning by trial and error and mostly error how to use a very dangerous piece of farm equipment. It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro ... [Read Article]
