Once you have it split to replace the clutch, you will need to remove the pedal shaft to split the housing away from the transmission. Need to be pretty careful about this so as not to break the housing casing where the shaft comes through. My pedals were a real bear to get off because of all the rust and shaft distortions (from set screws). Once inside, the seal is pressed in a pretty fragile diecast housing that is bolted to the transmission. There are often as many leaks around the OD of the seal and between the casting and the transmission as through the seal lip. Good luck. Dick D.
