I don't know about you fellers but I've had the exact opposite problem !! I noticed that my '44 'A's fan suddenly started hitting the crank pulley....the pulley had walked forward enough to touch the fan. Upon examination, I noticed a tapped 3/8" hole in the pully's hub exactly perpendicular to the key. The key had a set screw scar so I'm assuming that I had simply tossed the old one. I meant to check my'44 'B' before coming in, but, as usual, I forgot. I checked my I&T and it mentions nothing about a set screw, it only shows an illistration of a mounted gear puller.
