This last Sunday I went on a little trip to retrieve two tractors. A 1923 McCormick Deering 15-30 and a 1956 John Deere 60. I payed $600 for the McCormick Deering 15-30 and $1000 for the John Deere 60. It was a fun trip and it was the longest trip for tractors that I have taken, to Stanton Nebraska. We left at about 10 and arrived at 12:30. It was a great weekend to do this as the weather was so nice outside. But we ran into the problem of mud. It took us a few hours to get the tractors loaded but we were able to do it. We first put on the McCormick Deering 15-30 and then the John Deere 60 and chained them down good. It was a very fun adventure that ended with us safely arriving home at about 6. Today we unloaded the tractors. They sure were easier to get off then to get on, but thats all part of the fun of getting new toys. I cannot wait to get both the tractors running. I think is will be easier to get the John Deere 60 going then the McCormick Deering 15-30, but I am up for the challenge. Now I have 8 tractors and these two are now my oldest and newest tractors in my collection.
