They are all good-people just have certain preferences. What do you want to do with the tractor? How big a tractor do you need? Are you going to work it, play with it, both or are you interested in showing an antique? I have a Ford2N, John Deere 70, Farmall Super C, Case DC3, Massey-Ferguson 25 Diesel Deluxe and am about to buy a Allis-Chalmers WD45. I do all of the above with my tractors. I'm basically color blind but lean toward the Farmalls. (I grew up on a Farmall M and have owned a John Deere MT and a John Deere B, both fine tractors.) My Super C with Touch Control and Fast Hitch w/ 3-pt. conversion kit is my main man, though, so much so that the others are going to have to start doing more of their share other than just sitting around and looking pretty while waiting for the next show or pull. The Super C needs a little shop time to get it to the same condition as the others; I haven't exactly neglected it but rather just :used" it because it is so handy. That doesn't mean that my Super C is "better" than the others; it just means that I like it better for my general use. The JD70 is a real "load" when I need some muscle and the Case DC3 is a fun tractor to take to the plow days. It has an adjustable front end and they are kind of rare. So it's an individual thing.

He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana.
