Assuming they are two row cultivators: There will be a front cross member with brackets that attach to an M (or H on narrower holes or slots) bolster. There will be two front "primary" tillage units (steerable or fixed) each will have 4 sweeps mounted on two trailing arms. It should have loop adjusters to allow the inner distance between forward sweeps to be adjusted through about 8 inches of travel closer and wider. The inner sweeps should be missing their inner wing to cover less. Their should be shields with mounting brackets to provide emergent cultivation without covering. these are trapezoid sheet metal with rounded corners about 18 inches long and 7 inches high. There should be two lift rods with 3 foot tall adjustment levers, hydraulic cylinders, and large 2 inch by 20 inch springs. These rods are pipe and 1.5" diameter and ~8" long, as they attach to the rear axle brackets. There may be rear cover option attachment that covers wheel tracks and can add substantial effectiveness. This consists of three primary trailing brackets with 7 sweeps, and a trailing spring tooth array with tines that smooth the furrows made by the larger sweeps. Each front and rear trailing assembly has a spring loaded rod that lifts on it to raise the sections, and a spring that pushes with adjustable force when they are tilling. There are hoses for the cylinders going to each side Liftall outlets. Some were equipped with a rear section separate cylinder to allow use of the delay action left rear outlet. This is from 15 year memory, but I stared at the dang things for 4 hour stretches in first gear 1/4 throttle on 20 acre fields. Jim
