Poster posted the serial # a few days ago. It had a R suffix for a tractor equiped with a T/A with a provision for a transmission driven PTO. With a T/A the PTO was realy driven from the clutch shaft with gear to another gear and shafts that passed through the transmission. When the clutch plate stopped so did the pto. Whats strange to me is the flange on the rear of the PTO housing. Looks like for a rear belt pulley gear box housing or other special attachment mount. Can"t tell if the flange is part of the housing or made to go over it. Never saw or heard of one for a transmission driven PTO, not even on a utility. Fast hitches were a attachment. Fast hitch with traction control like on the tractor could be purhased new after tractor was sold and put on or removed from another and put on. Heard of new tractors still setting unsold on dealers lots when the next model was out. So it could be a dealer installed the hitch when tractor was sold as new.
