RTR,

1. The first post is obviously talking about a TOY 1206. He was mocking the original poster because you're not supposed to post "wanted" ads in this forum. There is a classified area for that kind of thing.

Notice that you don't see many "for sale" or "wanted" ads in this forum. It's not because people don't think to post them here. It's because it's against the rules of the website, and the vast majority of people respect the rules.

Occasionally someone will post a wanted or for sale ad in this forum, either because they are ignorant of the rules, or they choose to ignore the rules in some misguided "free speech" crusade. If you give them guff about it, others will jump in and beat you up, saying "it's no big deal."

Well, it is a big deal. When people see that it's apparently "okay" to post their ads here, more people will do it. It won't take long for the forum to become unusable for those of us who ask questions and provide answers and just talk about tractors in general.

...and if you want to play the free speech card, it works both ways. If you're free to post your ad here even though the rules say not to, I am free to express my opinion about posting ads in this forum. I am not judging you as a person. I am not asking you to remove it. I am expressing my opinion.

2. The second post contained a website name that is censored automatically by the forum software, probably T R A C T O R H O U S E . C O M.
