Just had the hydraulic pump completely restored at a very good hydraulic repair shop, put her on and after about 30 seconds, the NEW seals blew. Took it back, along with the control valve blocks and the block that has the power steering priority valve, regulator and safety relief valve in it. They hooked it up to a test rig but said the pump is seeing 1500 psi all the time - obviously an issue - they think because without a hydraulic system schematic they aren't sure exactly what the spec is.
I'm now quite stuck, and sinking money into this thing way too quickly. Where can I get a schematic (i.e. which book is it in?). Does anyone know what the idle pressure on the pump should be? Would you think this is a problem with the regulator? They went through the control valves to ensure they are returning to neutral after moving.
