if you want down pressure on the saginaw, you will need a open center spool valve. plumb from one of the front pressure outlets of the belly pump to the "in" on the spool, then plumb the "out" to the belly pump drain and use a pipe tee with a plug (so you can drain the oil to change it). then connect the two lines on the spool valve to the saginaw hitch. tee the up lines together, and also tee the down lines together. wire the belly pump control rod back to the always on position, then use the spool to control the hitch. there is a set of pins on the top rear of the saginaw that you can remove so the 3 pt will float. heres some pics of the set up on my m. my spool valve is a char lynn.
if you look at the control rod (with the loop) for the belly pump, you can see a second stop i welded on the control rod. it is set so that the pump rod can be hooked in the full on position, so i can shut the pump off from the seat.
