Actually a reproduction is an item made by a non oem approved vendor, that comes close to but does not EXACTLY meet the oem specifications. Nearly all of the "aftermarket" parts fall under this category. Many of the parts are "reverse engineered" by these "will fitters". A service part that is still offered by the OEM is not a "reproduction". It is in fact a new stock part. In time this will become a "new old stock" part. There is a business in the USA who markets "reproduction" gauges. Are they 100% correct??? No, not by my standards (comparing them to the original IH parts specs as called for in the parts blueprints). They do however offer some gauges that the various OEM's have chosen to abandon offering in the marketplace.
