Rich- Replace that bearing while you got it apart. Mine cost around thirty bucks. Seemed kinda steep, but on one hand "they got you" and on the other be glad parts are still easy to get. Recommend loading the bearing cavity with gun grease while you're in there. At least give the worm screw and big gear a generous coating. It's probably been 50 years since they last got any and might be another fifty 'till they get another lube job. Now is the time to replace all hoses and belts... Jest grit your teeth and do it man. Hang the old ones on the wall as "emergency spares" and you'll probably never need 'em! You can cut up an old radiator hose and use it as the cushion under the re-built radiator. Cut two big diameter washers, one on top of the other, for each bottom mounting bolt and the steering shaft hole should line up just right when you cinch it down. Good idea about trying for a tank parts junker radiator, posted by The Red. Another trick I did was cut away the bottom of the fan shroud, then cut the rest into a left and right hand piece, with a pre-drilled connector plate at the 12 o'clock position.
