Hello,
Just got a 51 H on Saturday. Its in slightly better than average condition. Needs a little paint work (faded, straight tin), but it runs like a top. It came with a L59 Woods mower, Little Genius #8 plow, rear snowplow on a hydraulic cylinder, disc, and culti-packer. Everything is in pretty good shape, and seems to have been well maintained. I'm amazed at how much more comfortable the H is compared to my SM. It's almost like the M's were built for guys over 6 feet tall, and the H's are built for the short guys like me. It steers great compared to the SM too. This is the first time I've ever run an H, and so far I'm impressed. The main reason I bought it is because my MTD lawn tractor is getting killed by my 5 acres of mowing. The H is a little bulky around trees, but works awesome in the open, and turns almost as sharp as a zero turn. I'm also suprised by the quality of cut the woods deck gives. The best part is, my wife was the one who wanted me to get it. She saw it in the paper and went with me to look at it. I think she's getting tired of being nickel and dimed with MTD spindles. Anyway, just thought I'd share. Take care... Shawn

As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
