More information would definatly help. Both the other posts are good guesses. Here's my guesses: 1. possibly a fuel problem but probably ignition, clean and adjust the points. I've seen many tractors act the way you described when the point adjustment slips or when the points become dirty (filmy). 2. Fuel starvation, check the stand pipe in the fuel tank, strainers, and even the fuel pump if it's an F-12 or F-14. Please let us know what the problem was.
