Have a chance to buy a Farmall 656 with wide front, 3 pt, new loader w/new hoses and cylinders, good paint, good tin, 60% treads. Its had the cylinder head redone about 50 hrs ago. Typical blown head gasket. He says it smokes a little, probably could use the bottom half rebuilt. Hydraulics work good. He says hard time to get into the gear you want, probably the linkage? Steering works good and brakes work good. Have not seen it up close and personal but have seen pics. I plan on going to hear it and take it for a spin. Not sure of the year. He"s asking $6500 for it. Is this in the neiborhood of a decent price? Oh yeah, there"s no wheel weights. Not sure how that works with a loader. Thanks for your thoughts.
