On a fresh overhaul (turned mains and rods) I have 43PSI at start up and 22-23 PSI HOT pulling disk. This is on a 95 degree day at 1400 RPM.
I have the blue ribbon manuals and can find no PSI specs in them.
Mechanic friend did the reassembly for me (after I jacked up the first the I split it) said the machine shop did a wonderful job and the clearances were now spot on per the blue ribbon manual.
Oil Pump has been overhauled and there is a new pressure relief spring and all new metal check valves in the oil filter housing.
I was expecting more like 80 PSI cold and 40 hot (nothing to base that on except some car engine overhauls.)
