We have a nice Farmall SA that we bought "restored" 5 or so yrs ago. We use it infrequently, usually 4th of July Parade/Christmas Parade & occassional light duty useage (maybe gets used 6X/yr)...when not used, it is stored inside, oil changed once/yr. Anyway, I pulled it out last weekend & it ran just fine....ran it for an hour or so & shut it down...went to re-start a few minutes later & it wouldn"t...I gave it a good look-over, pulled the plugs , cleaned them, notice oil on #3...put them back in & it fired right up, ran fine....ran it an hour or so, shut it down, went to restart & same scenario, pulled the plugs, noticed oil on #3, cleaned the plugs & it fired right up. It"s in the barn now, I don"t need it, we have newer tractors for work, does this one just need to be "worked" more? I know for a fact this motor was torn down & overhauled in 2005, I have all the reciepts...it might have 30 or 40 hrs on it since rebuild.
