Over the past week or so someone wrote about the governors on their tractor reacting sluggishly and several people answered with how they work and what the problem could be. I have the same problem on my H so today I went out and took the cover off. After spending some time with the responses, my parts book and my IT manual and not seeing how it all adds up I finally went over and took the cover off my M governors. It turns out they are different and the M governors look like the the parts manual. The M governors have only 2 weights while my H has 3 weights and they are a different weight from the M. I also don't have a thrust washer that people are saying could be grooved on the H. Both tractors were made in 1943. Can someone shed some light on the differences. Both governors look the same from the outside.
