Well, good on ya. The first tractor of my own was a '51 SuperC. It ran when I got it, but the sellers had busted some rings when they freed up the stuck motor and it was sputin' flecks of oil that never have wahed off of my work clothes. I was workin' just on weekends and with some other delays, ws most of a summer rebuilding the motor and gettin' her goin' again. The momoent of truth was real early one saturday morning, and I went back in the house to wake up my sweetheart so she could hear the "tractor music."

The other was my '47 BN. It was a family tractor and a basket case when I retrieved it. It got a stem-to-stern mecahnical overhaul and cleaned down and repainted. As I got things back together (after a MUCH longer time) and couldn't wait to hear her run. As soon as I had the gas tank and the mag back on, it took three pulls on the crank to fire her up. Now THAT was tractor music!

Wishin' you well, and promisin' that it will be a great feelin' when you get there. Nothin' just like it in my experience.
