My dad and I have been doing a little work on his two Farmall A's. They've just been sitting under cover and my dad has decided he might want to sell them so we are trying to get them running good. They ran good when he bought them around four years ago. A year or so ago we got them out and cranked them up. One still ran good and one would start but did not want to stay running. This time neither one wanted to start at first and the starter on the one that ran good before seemed to be dragging so we changed it out with the one on his parts Super A. We got it running Ok but it appears we got a little trash in the carb because suddenly it did not want to run without some choke. We'll have to clean up the carb and (and maybe the tank) and do a full tune up on it and see how it runs then. This one has the aftermarket hydraulic ram with three point. The other one we got to run on starting fluid only even though we cleaned the carb and have a good flow of gas to the carb and out the bowl drain. We'll have to look into that a bit more. I won't be able to go back up to my dad's place until Tuesday due to my work. (12 hour rotating shifts.)
