I was wondering what a 1966 gas 706 would be worth. The particular are. I would be buying this tractor from the original owner who bought it new in 1966 for $5800. It has a 263 cubic inch gas engine, wide front end, fast hitch, power adjusting rear wheels( I never saw wheels like this before) 6600 hours. The engine was rebuilt in 1991. It comes with all the original manuals, bill of sale and shipping paperwork. It has been barn kept since new and I know the hours are correct as the owner has maintenance schedule that document oil changes at specific hours. The tractor is in original condition and other than faded paint is in good cosmetic condition. I noticed the original stickers are still on the air cleaner. I was just wondering what a fair offer would be for this tractor. I have never owned a 706 and thought this would be the place to get some good advice. Thanks for any help.
