A few days ago I put a message concerning a wobble problem with one my H's. The response was great and thank you. Today I investigated the situation and here is what I found, the right front wheel was a little loose and I went into the steering gear box under the grill. The worm gear and the gear it meshes with appear to be in good shape with very little wear. Now, the cap nut over the end of the steering shaft was loose. I have never seen one of these loosen up like this before; also, the ball bearing on the end of the shaft is bad, only about 3/4 of it left. I didn't see any of the missing balls, it appears someone has been there prior to me. I think if that cap came off and you went into a right turn you could run the worm gear all the way past the shaft gear. Please let me know what you think about the situation I have. I am going to pick up a bearing as soon as I can find one. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. Ed
