Last shaft I ordered from OEM Tractor Parts, of course they sent the wrong one first, I wanted a 460, they sent Super H, same shaft but keyways are different.
Yes, I worried about the local shop getting the keyway locations correct also. But, they did it exactly right. And - yes - I thought about the freight when I had the local shop make a new shaft, since Pilot Knob offers those also. By the time I figured the freight it was cheaper to have the local shop make a new shaft. I figured Pilot Knob was all set up to do the pedal hole, so I let them have at it. They seem like nice guys and did a great job.....
