Just thought y'all might find this one amusing. A fella that I worked for had a 706 with the german motor in it. She was always a miserable thing to start. Crank for a good 25 seconds or better. A large tornado took the barn, house, and a brand new pickup, left an olds 88 and the machine shed. After the twister, the ol 706 was the only tractor that was operational. (the 574 had a 2x2 through the radiator, tornado inflicted) So that's what we decided to use to start cleaning up. Boss's wife climbed up on the 706 and fired it up.....in about 4 revolutions! Out of all the things that twister destroyed, it found in it's cold relentless heart to, not only spare, but FIX an old IH tractor!!! Just thought y'all might get a kick out of that one!! Kippster
