The M weights fit C's, H's and Farmall row crops well into the late sixties if not later. They will mount on either side of the wheel. On a M you can put at least three weights on the inside even with the wheel dished out and next to the axel housing. The oblong opening in the wheel weight is there to facilitate fitting a socket wrench so that the wheel clamps can be loosened and the wheel adjusted for spacing. The two piece weights are convenient for inside attachment because the wheel does not have to be removed from the axel. I have several tractors with 8 weights per wheel: 3 on the inside and five on the outside.
