Paul, Sounds like you did pretty good without a manual....if your light switch has 4 positions on it they are: Fully Counter Clockwise = Low charge (No lights) Next position going clockwise = High Charge(No lights) Next position clockwise= Dim Headlights/Bright tail light Last position going clockwise= All three lights on bright. If you only have a 3 position switch.... Fully Counter Clockwise is "OFF" (But battery should still charge) Next position clockwise is Dim front lights bright back light. Last position going clockwise is all lights bright. Hope this helps. I'm also emailing you a schematic for a 4 position switch, 6 volt, positive ground system if you need it.//FB
