Ron As per the previous post, check rod bearings by removing the rod cap. Since you said the engine has good oil pressure, the oil passages in the crank must be sealed by tight bearings or the spun bearing sealed the oil galley preventing a lost of oil pressure. If the valve train was faulty, the engine would run rough. However, if a piston pin or connecting rod end on the piston were loose, oil pressure would be fine and the engine would run fine. Check external and accessory drive components. Good luck Ray
